L\u2019\u00e9tablissement en RDC en famille est important. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong><u>MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The Deputy Managing Director is intended to succeed the current Managing Director on the latter&#8217;s retirement. Together with the current Managing Director, he assumes full responsibility for the management of the company, according to terms and priorities to be agreed with the current Managing Director. <\/p>\n\n<p>He will be responsible for the business development of the current departments, namely Chanitec, Chanic Equipments, Chanimetal, Chanic Approvisionnements and the Real Estate Division.<\/p>\n\n<p>He will also have to draw up a development strategy for the company, based on its assets and liabilities.<\/p>\n\n<p>strengths, identify opportunities for growth and potential partnerships.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Deputy General Manager supervises the following aspects in particular:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Gestion financi\u00e8re<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>budget cycle: budgets, reporting, re-estimates, cash flow plans, etc. ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>management with the CFO of tax and customs controls, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Sales management<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>commercial negotiations with customers for large orders ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>marketing proposed by the Sales Department (website, leaflets, advertisements, events);  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>control of all important quotations (financial and\/or technical).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Production management<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>with the Technical Managers, supervision of production planning and compliance, investments and inventory management;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>control with the Procurement Department of major purchases and negotiations with local and foreign suppliers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>procurement optimization and definition of inventory requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Property management<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>optimization of real estate assets (rental or sale of unused property) ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>administrative management of real estate sales ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>property maintenance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Legal management<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>litigation follow-up with our law firm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Administrative and HR management<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>develop, motivate and lead the management team;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Daily update on all aspects of personnel management with the HR Director;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support for new recruits in strategic positions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>monthly monitoring of costs, negotiation of major departures, optimization of medical care (choice of centers, contracts);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>selection and interviews for expats, executives and key positions ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>supervision of ratings, training and career plans ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>drawing up and monitoring contracts for key positions ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>participation in union meetings and management of salary negotiations ;  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>contact with the authorities ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>insurance follow-up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>General Secretariat<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>preparation of Board Meetings and General Meetings and supervision of follow-up (legalization, archiving).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>IT management<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>supervision of the IT department (hardwares, softwares) and transition to new software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Supervision of the QHSE department<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>monitoring procedures ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>participation in Health and Safety meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong><u>DIPLOMA AND\/OR TRAINING REQUIRED<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>A Master&#8217;s degree in a technical or engineering subject is an important element.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong><u>EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Minimum 5 years&#8217; successful experience in a similar position in Africa.<\/p>\n\n<p>The successful candidate will be able to count on the support of the current Managing Director during a transition period to be determined by mutual agreement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Groupe Chanic in Kinshasa is a company active in the following main areas: Chanic Group is looking for DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER of Groupe Chanic in the Democratic Republic of Congo www.chanic.com POSITIONNEMENT MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Deputy Managing Director is intended to succeed the current Managing Director on the latter&#8217;s retirement.
