The Chanic Group has had the honor of being one of the participants at the first Automobile and equipment salon from Thursday May 30th to Sunday June 2nd 2013 in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Martys stadium was specially re-organised for this event which gave us the opportunity to present and expose our biggest brands and to reveal our products to the public.
We were also happy to welcome M. Morians Gonzalo, African Director of the Group GESAN, who presented seminars on electric generators during the Automobile and equipment salon.
The Chanic group would like to thank Millenium, under the patronage of his Excellency M. the Prime Minister, Chief of the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo and to all the participants who contributed to this first edition being a success.

Thursday November 15th 2012, launch of the first oil barge 1200m3 ordered by SEP CONGO.
59,9 meters long, 12 meters large, the first barge will be delivered two (2) months before the predicted date, due notably by using a methodology of fabrication by “blocks” which is more efficient.
The construction will have lasted six (6) months starting from the arrival of the metal sheets.

The shipyard continues its investments in the renewal of its machine tools. After a 900 KVA group in order to avoid failures of the electrical network, a 6 meters tower for propeller shafts, a guillotine for thick sheets, we have received on September 20th a new numerically controlled press brake.
