Groupe CHANIMETAL (www.chanic.com) is seeking for immediate employment at its head office in Kinshasa :

A SALES REPRESENTATIVE

I. MAIN MISSION OF THE POSITION

    • Promote the sale of all products represented by CHANIC Equipments.

    II. DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES :

      • Carry out market research by “represented” products, prepare reports for line manager;
      • Prospect potential customers and prepare a visit report for the line manager;
      • Prepare and follow up offers to potential customers;
      • Draw up proposals to respond to invitations to tender;
      • Prepare the elements for the final invoice and assist in the delivery of the equipment sold;
      • Monitor the department’s open orders with suppliers, in close collaboration with the procurement department;
      • Prepare annual inventory and order data for management, based on sales statistics.

      III. QUALIFICATIONS :

        • Degree in business, finance or marketing
        • Minimum 3 years in a similar position.

        IV. SPECIFIC QUALITIES :

          • Good presentation, fluent and persuasive expression,
          • Perfect command of the French language: oral and written,
          • Ability to build trusting relationships,
          • Ability to take initiative,
          • Notions of English,
          • Proficiency in computer tools such as Word and Excel

          • Assist the Sales Manager by drafting reports, correspondence, account follow-up, customers, prospects, suppliers and subcontractors

          II. DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES :

          • Follow up offers with the various departments
          • Track customer orders
          • Draft customer correspondence and contracts
          • Update the price list with stock levels
          • Tender follow-up
          • Check sales closing

          III. QUALIFICATIONS :

          • Degree in business, finance or marketing
          • Minimum 3 years in a similar position.
